The company, based in Zelhem (East Netherlands), had the problem that every order was taken up as a new engineering project - even products made in high numbers in series. So it was high time to record all knowledge in a configurator, so that the employees with this knowledge could focus on their daily work.
In the past, Polyketting built its own configurator based on a database, but it proved difficult to maintain. Knowledge capture options were also limited. Our configurator Merkato may now take over the baton and will ensure an ideal fulfilment of this role.
