The sophisticated market approach of the young Doesburg-based company Levere is down to the last detail. The company does not have its own production or assembly, but fulfils the role of intermediary: between customers quickly looking for an affordable industrial hall or shed on the one hand and a large number of suppliers on the other. The keywords of this market approach? Speed, scalability and low costs, (among other things) because overhead is kept to a minimum. Even the slightest error in an order or definition could evaporate all margin. Logical that Levere opted for Merkato's security!
Levere wanted to configure sheds in a fully automated, error-free and fast way. In addition, the configurator had to generate not only nice and reliable quotations for customers, but also the documents for suppliers (order forms and/or vouchers). This was not possible in Excel.
Using an informative and interactive model, Levere customers now enter their own requirements on the website and can thus put together a shed. In the background, work preparation is done in real time, giving customers immediate access to the price.
Merkato also supports the process after the quotation is signed. As soon as an order comes in, the shed is further crystallised in that same quotation. Details are then finalised and final changes made. Using a checklist in the configurator, everything is gone through and checked. Finally, when everything is ready, Merkato generates the order confirmations and order forms.
Levere captured all the required knowledge in Merkato in a very short time. This immediately eliminated a major 'bottleneck' and laid the foundation for national and international scale-up.
Nice to know: director Castillo Müller never underwent any training to fill Merkato. He 'just started' and thus built the configurator almost independently!
In recent years, the company had been growing at lightning speed, and because every system they supply is custom-made, making the corresponding quotations began to require more and more resources. This stood in the way of rapid international expansion, which is why Wiejelo contacted Merkato.
