Hitma, which is part of UltraPure International, is one of the largest players in the global market for (among other things) single-use assemblies for medical and sampling applications.
Because one order can consist of huge numbers of unique products, small miscalculations in the price can be disastrous. Each assembly is uniquely customised. Each quotation and order requires a customer-specific drawing and a parts list with assembly instructions for 'the floor'. This results in an enormous amount of work for the inside sales department.
