The Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) is responsible for identifying and creating new qualified sales opportunities. The SDR becomes a trusted resource for prospects and develops strong relationships, acting as the initial point of contact. This role will primarily focus on researching Target Accounts in a region and performing sales activities through emails, calls, and social media. You will have the opportunity to be closely mentored and professionally supported by a seasoned sales professional.

Your responsibilities:

  • Working with the business owner to support the acquisition of new accounts in the region
  • Researching and evaluating additional leads/prospects through web research
  • Promoting and marketing Sell it Easy through extensive and persistent cold calling, emails, and communication(s) to prospective clients
  • Scheduling Initial prospecting meetings for the business owner
  • Providing in-depth information to the business owner to enable the most qualified and productive sales calls and/or demos
  • Helping as needed to build awareness on special projects / events
  • Maintaining all contacts/opportunities and recording all progress in Zoho (CRM)

What we expect from you:

  • Fluent in Dutch, English and preferably French as well
  • Strong oral and written communication skills along with excellent listening skills
  • Strong interest in sales processes, industrial companies, and technical products
  • Computer literate (office products, mail programs, cloud applications)
  • Willingness to invest in building knowledge related to our users and their products & services
  • Ability to independently manage various functions, including prospecting and lead research
  • Willingness to develop superior skills in promoting and, possibly, selling software digitally
  • Positive attitude and demonstrated ability to deal with rejection
  • Ability to develop rapport, influence others and maintain strong working relationships
  • Ability to explain complex issues clearly
  • Must be self-motivated, persistent, and able to work independently

Plusses:

  • Knowledge of / experience in digital marketing & development of professional communities
  • Call centre experience and / or experience with ZOHO (or other CRM systems)
